Persuading pub-goers to put down their phones.
For: CAMRA – The Campaign for Real Ale
Brief: To make the pub a more social experience.
Insight: 8/10 Brits say they’d like to see mobile phones banned in pubs and restaurants.
Direction: Persuading pub-goers to put down their phones; to engage in a good old fashioned ‘bargument’.
NFC Enabled Beer Mats
When the customer interacts with the NFC beer mats, their phone will enter flight-mode. The reverse side of each mat features a topic of debate.

WiFi Hotspots
After joining pub WiFi hotspots, The Cloud will display an offer for a free drink if the customer disconnects again. After doing so, customers will be given a code for their free local beer from the bar.

Custom Brews
CAMRA will work with local breweries to create custom campaign craft beers. These beers will feature typically punny beer names and suggest pairing with different conversations. Also working to expose consumers to new breweries.
